HOT ART, COOL NIGHTS
A Mid City Merchants Art Hop
The fifth annual Baton Rouge Mid City Merchants sponsored spring art hop, “Hot Art, Cool Nights”, will be held on Friday night, May 9, 2008, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. This premier spring art event is one of the top in the city as attested by the thousands of art lovers that jam into the participating businesses. This is Mother’s Day weekend, so treat “Mom” to a night out and to a fine piece of artwork.
Mid City businesses will sponsor original, local art. Some will be well known local artists and some will showcase new talent. One is sure to see various mediums and styles of art from works of sculptors, painters, jewelry designers, photographers and more. The artist will be present on the night of the event at the business that is showcasing his or her work.
